Can you name this plant? Specimen #3

I spotted this beautiful tree while taking the kids to school this morning. I have no idea what it is, but it is spectacular.
The most wonderful pink panicles, so pretty.
A small, neat tree.
Really hoping someone knows what this is because I think I NEED one!
Thank you to Gina, all the way from South Wales and Fran in Tasmania for identifying Specimen #2 as the Judas Tree (Cercis siliquastrum). Horicultual hero points to you both!

  1. It could be a Pink Trumpet Tree (Tabebuia rosea) or a crepe myrtle. We have the Pink Trumpet trees here in Brisbane and they are gorgeous at this time of year. They seem to drop all of their leaves though when they flower, so perhaps it is something different?

  3. I have heard of the Judas tree but do not think I have ever seen it.

No one identified my beautiful pink blossomed tree........but I think it must be a crab apple.
Just never seen one that color.

  5. It looks a bit like a chestnut of some sort but would need to see the shape of the leaves more clearly to get a better idea.
