Give them away Bloom!

Awww, do I have to?! I've yet to make a Frilly Dilly bag that I haven't loved, and these are no exception. But give them away I must! Here is the deal for my giveaway: 1. The winner will choose one of the two bags I have made. 2. The remaining bag will be auctioned on eBay, with the proceeds to be donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire appeal. 3. The giveaway winner will be chosen at random, 4pm, Saturday 21st February. To enter, please leave a comment on this post, telling me where in the world you live and one thing that makes you happy! Choice #1 - Winter Frilly Dilly, made from reproduction fabrics, The Old Sturbridge Village Collection by Judie Rothermel.
Choice #2: Spring Frilly Dilly, lots of spots, stripes & checks, including a very cute Woodland Bloom print by Lila Tueller. The photos are not very good as it is a grey & miserable day here. I will replace them when the light is better. Something that makes me happy? Fresh flowers ... preferably in a clean house!

  3. Hi! My name is Ariane. I'm from Ontario, Canada. What makes me happy is taking a nice walk on a cool spring or fall day holding hands with my husband and watching my kids run, laugh and play. I love the Winter Frilly Dilly the most, but they are both beautiful.

  5. Hi Bloom
Gorgeous bags!! I live in the Hunter Valley New South Wales, love it, can't imagine not living here actually. Enjoy visiting other places, but always love coming home. One thing that makes me happy is playing with my children (we have 4). Kids take you for what you are and you can be totally silly with them. Good luck with your auction on ebay, I'll keep an eye out for it.

  7. Hmmmm... Something that makes me happy... Being an Austrlain makes me happy! To see what those people have gone through (and some not been able to get through) down in Vic, then to see the way the firefighters risk their lives, then the public donating so much even in a time of their own need. It makes me very proud to say I'm Aussie! Also, seeing little Sam the koala come through the fires, along with so many other native animals, makes me cry tears of joy! For if humans could not survive the fires, then what animal stands chance!?
Yes, I am truely proud and happy to be an Australian!

My 8yr old daughter Stellas 'Pollyanna' attitude makes me happy - all the time. When my dearest friend, Reginas house burnt down during the VIC fires, Regina apologised for not sending Stellas b'day present in time, Stella thought for a moment and said "Oh Mummy tell Regina not to be silly, she has enough to worry about, I already have too many things". If we win I know who we will send it on to. If we don't thankyou for letting me share. x
