… when your Google Reader count hits 1000+ unread posts! Mercifully, I had a quiet Monday at home, catching up on some ‘around the house’ stuff.
On the stitching front, I added an occasional stitch to this little panel. It is from Leanne Beasley’s ‘Vignette in Stitches’ project. I intend to use it for a cover for my diary.
I have been fiddling with some ‘Hullabaloo’ Dresden plates. It is a sweet new range by ‘Urban Chiks’ for Moda.
I’ve not made much progress on the 1000+ unread posts. I confess, sometimes life means I have to ‘mark all as read’ and start afresh!
It's good to give yourself permission to start afresh..in most areas of life! I love your daughters gift of flowers..so vibrant and very cool.
ReplyDeleteI know the feeling! Right not I dont seem to have time to read/comment on blogs, or even do any sewing!
ReplyDeleteLove those flowers, and your Hullabaloo :-)
hee! hee! hee! I do that regularly - I start frantically clicking through, and then think oh drats - and zip along. All done! Isn't that awful! :-0 But your dresden plate - very lovely. I think it's my favourite block and every time I make some, I fall in love all over again.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers, and they will last a long time! Both your stitchery and dresden block are really sweet.
ReplyDeleteSometimes we have to start fresh, life has a tendency of getting in the way :-) Have a lovely day!
Blog reading is for fun, there's no test after, so starting afresh is completely allowed! I love your mother's day flowers. So cute!
ReplyDeletebeautiful projects. i have some hullabaloo and haven't decided what to do with it yet. i love the dresden plates...
ReplyDeleteI usually click on the Read All when I reach more than a hundred entries.
ReplyDeleteMake sure you check those blogs that you have to read by choosing the blogs under subscriptions.
LOVE those mothers day flowers. I made pop up cards with flowers with all the preps. They were good too. I might hunt out a photo to post.
ReplyDeleteDon't sweat about the number of blog posts in Reader! It shows you HAVE a life that does not revolve around the computer.
ReplyDeleteJust a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave today [11 May 01:00am GMT]. Thanks, Maria
ReplyDeleteIsn't the Mark all as read a wonderful button? It's a bit like waking up with God's mercies that are new every morning! I love your flowers from your child. So sweet! Love your projects in progress, too!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean! My husband and I recently got back from a weekend getaway and my Google Reader was in the area of 650+ items! I happily clicked "Mark all as read." :)
