Very pretty! If those done small enough these would be awesome as embellishment on a linen bag/purse. I also see a picket fence with the hexies as flowers peeking over the top--add some embroidery touches and voila! A wall hanging.
A table runner sounds good, but I'd hate for it to get sloppy milk on it like on my table. I like the idea of putting perhaps a black behind to show up the shapes, and then making it into a wall hanging banner type thing. It looks fantastic. I'll be interested to see what you decide to do with it.
I see a quilt. It caught my eye at first because it is off center in the picture and think it would be really cool as a quilt with it running down one side of the quilt. Maybe a solid, white background? Stepping out of the box it can be so much more than a table runner. I love the colors and patterns you put together. What a great job!
Beautiful. I thought it was done LOL I see others agree. Find a way to back it, leaving the open areas open and use it for a table runner. I can see it on a glass top table.
I just found your blog today spent all afternoon browsing and enjoying your wonderful projects! I love your quilts and your bags! I'd call myself a beginner, and your blog is very inspiring! It's been years since I embroidered anything and I am so inspired right now! Love it!
I love love love it. Do you have the pattern piece for the middle at least to share? I want it, thinking about doing it for a new Mommy to be dresser scarf. Thanks for sharing with us.

I think it will be a pretty bed header, on some nice solid background fabric, specially for a girl/guest room.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Like many others I think it will make a beautiful table runner. Look forward to see what you do next!
