I would LOVE a colored pencil roll like that. SOOOO pretty!
Those are the best.... I love the different colour to match each pencil.... lucky teachers...Hugz
That is gorgeous! What an amazing teacher gift!
Your colours choices for the pencil roll are wonderful - can I be a teacher too please? How long did it take you to find just the right colours! Well done! Can't wait to see the finished project.
Wonderful job colourmatching all those pencils (pens?), an amazing gift for teachers, they deserve amazing too, don't they, teaching all those kids, day in day out!
After seeing you make these last year I made one as a teacher gift this year - & she L.O.V.E.D it, even had a wee tear in her eye! Ta for the inspiration!
Looks fantastic. Enjoy making them. In a rush here too.....why do I always pick the fiddly projects!! Take care. Leanne.
so beautiful!! :)
Just writing to say that I hadn't seen those pens in AGES!!! :) Blast from the past, as they say...
I want to know what kind of pens they are? I've been making similar pencil rolls for kids using Crayola Twistable pencils but they're not very sophistocated writing implements for adults! They look fabulous! Bet the teachers love having your kids in their classes.
So glad to see that despite being a grownup I am not the only one who doesn't learn from last year's mistakes. It's comforting.
Fabulous colours. Why do they look their very best when all together like that. SO, so amazing.
Just perfect. Plenty of time left.
what a perfect gift! Love the fabrics you chose to make this.did you use a pattern or just whip this up yourself, why am i not surprised?Kathie
Ha, ha, yes I seem to remember a post like this last year?? Good luck, nothing like a deadline to bring out your best! You'll be happy to know I am using your journal covers to make my gifts this year. Love that pattern, thanks!PS Those pencil rolls look awesome.
Wow, beautiful! I wish I was teaching your children this year! Can't wait to see the finished project!

I am like you, last minute. But I always say I work better under pressure.
Wow, that's beautiful. I've always wanted to make one of those. It will make a beautiful gift!
Excellent. Great to see someone with fabric that goes back as old as my collection...I can spot some Jinny Beyer '2000' fabric in there ;-)
