The lovely Berglind of Miss Bee & I decided to do a little fabric swap recently. Since she is in Iceland and I am in Australia, we are all but on geographically opposite sides of the world! Berglind bravely accepted the challenge of sending me 'something nice' and here is what arrived!
Even the selvedge is gorgeous!
And how rare to see FIFTEEN colour dots on the selvedge! (Poor Ric-Rac will be hyperventilating - hi Jodie!)
That is the most amazing fabric! What a fabulous swap.
ReplyDeleteooh yes, the more dots the better !!!
ReplyDeleteI live 20 minutes away from Valori's shop.
ReplyDeleteI love her prints, too!

ReplyDeletebeautiful fabrics and I am sure you will do them justice......blogland sure is fun.......
ReplyDeleteLucky you Bloom. That should cheer you up with all that cold weather.....
ReplyDeleteJust like you, I always look at the selvedges, and sometimes, after using the fabric, I keep the selvedge, to hard to trow it away !
ReplyDeleteYou lucky gal!! Such lovely fabrics - I will be watching to see what you make from it

Huge from Norway
What beautiful fabric. Can't wait to see what you make with it.
ReplyDeleteOlive Rose was on my biggest fabric loves list for a long time. I bought some from the US as you are right, it has not been readily available here in Aust and only a limited range was actually even distributed here! I've sewn mine up but it's currently in limbo land as to whether I've done it justice :-( I'll certainly check back to see what you do with yours.
ReplyDeleteI think those fabric fit you very well. You will find a special project for it soon.
ReplyDeleteWhoa there - those fabrics are AMAZING! And you'' need to be involving that mighty fine strip of selvedge somehow!
ReplyDeleteNice blog. I liked this blog.
