Thankfully, the gardens were quiet and there was no-one around much to notice the mad woman traipsing about with a quilt over her shoulder.
I said I'd try to drape it artistically over a tree branch ...
... or perhaps flat out on the lawn ...
or strewn upon a park bench?
The fabrics are mostly Amy Butler's 'Temple Flowers', a little bit of Heather Bailey's 'Freshcut', and a little 'Summer in the City' by Urban Chiks. The pattern is 'Le Jardin' by Lynne Wilson, Threads of Time.
How pretty is this magnolia? And it matches so perfectly with the quilt! Oooh, & there is a gorgeous dogwood in flower over there ... at this point, I got completely distracted by beautiful blooms & went about wandering. Tra-la-la-la-la! Photos undoubtedly will follow!

How beautiful that quilt is, and what a lovely place to photograph it! The flowers in that last pic look like they were made on purpose to match the quilt!!!!

What a great idea to take it to the Bot Gardens to photograph it. It is a gorgeous quilt, but with those fabrics it couldn't help but be! tra la la la la - I can just imagine you wondering from one thing to the next. What great places Botanical Gardens are.

A beautiful quilt in the pefect setting! I've always wanted to do the same with photographing some of my quilts but never got up the courage to just 'do it'! I'm glad that you did.
