Hey baby, my name's Bloom ... how am I doing so far?

Life has been so busy lately that I don't know if I'm coming or going. My mum would say, "I don't know if I'm Arthur or Martha"! But at last, today I have reacquainted myself with my sewing machine. It has been a while, and she barely knew who I was either!
When I am 'time=poor', the stitching has to be simple & quick. I am working on a very simple quilt using 'Verna' fabrics by Kate Spain for Moda. I have used Kona 'Snow' for the sashing.
Simple, fresh and most importantly, DONE!
This baby is off to the quilter. Hope you have a great weekend and find some quality time to spend with your machine. Best wishes, Bloom x

  5. You've made a lovely top, I made this pattern once and it really shows off the fabrics. It'd be a great one for a layer cake.

  15. Hi Ros,
Just gorgeous. Glad you had some sewing time. Frantic too here. Don't get much time to sew except mending...but I'm not giving up trying though. Maybe this week??? Hope you have some more 'machine' time too. Leanne :)

  18. Such a lovely quilt! I like the combination of all these fresh colours together with white! I had to smile when reading that you had to get reacquainted with your sewing machine. I guess mine doesn't recognize me either. It was such a long time I hadn't time to sew...my garden had first priority during summer. But season now changes and my sewing room will be used again.
