How to cut Dresden plate wedges from 5" charm squares
Thank you for your interest in my tutorial for cutting wedges from 5 inch charm squares. The tutorial has moved and is available in its entirety at this link. Best wishes, Bloom.
Hi There! I was given 2 charm packs as a christmas gift and would like to make this table runner. The only thing is that I can't get the fan templates anywhere where I live, so would like to make my own template. Can you tell me what the width of your fan templates are at the top and the bottom. Could probably work it out but thought I'd ask you first!
That's pure genius. I was watching YouTube video last week that only got two out of a charm. I'll need make note of this. I couldn't find that Dresden template at any local stores and had to order it online. Glad I know about this before that order arrives.
Thank you for this great idea; I don't use often charm squares, I wish to have a pack right now and start cutting;I shared it with my readers and linked back to your blog.
Instead of cutting that last piece across the bottom, I just cut where the top of the other two pieces were cut and that left the 2.5x5 inch strip scrap on the top to use in another scrappy project.
That is brilliant. I have more than a few charm square packs and it will be nice to do something else with them besides squares and triangles.
