In a grump today, chained to the desk doing farm accounts. But, at least I have these sweethearts to keep me company, the first Lily of the Valley I have ever grown.
And then there's this little pile of stitcheries waiting patiently for me to make into quilt blocks, when the paperwork is done.
Things could be worse - I could be at Cadet Camp with my daughter hiking in the cold & the rain! Get some perspective Bloom!
I happened upon your blog a little while ago....I am so in love! I love everything about your site! I LOVE flowers! And your are soooo pretty! I just wanted to tell you that your stiching is so lovely. You must have just a good hand! You have insprired me to do more handwork! Thanks for the reminder!

ReplyDeleteHi - thanks for the beautiful lily of the valley photo! I used to love looking at pictures of these when I was growing up (I think it may be my birth month flower??) but have never tried growing them - perhaps I might just do that now! And love your little stitchery too - can you please tell me what the stone-coloured fabric is you are using? Is it homespun or linen?
ReplyDeleteMany thanks, Danielle

Hi, Just wondering if you iron your stitcheries after they are stitched. I use a hoop while stitching and find it goes out of shape, then when I try to iron it it goes all lumpy if you know what I mean. Yours look so neat though i'd ask.
